![]() My concentration, now that summer is here, is the prestigious plein air competition "Paint Easton." As part of my preparation I will be spending a few days painting in one of my favorite spots: Schellsburg, PA. The beautiful mountains, undulating farmland, and quaint historic towns inspire me no end. It is truly gorgeous country. For example, the painting above is a scene just outside Schellsburg. At the show of Washington Parks at American Painting Fine Art, I have a number of new paintings. The show "The Long View" continues at the Athenaeum in Alexandria. See the details on my calendar page. On my blog I am posting a still life demonstration of my garden roses. Both it and the previous blog painting of daffodils will be in a still life exhibition at American Painting Fine Art NY later this year.
